This Ted Talk aboards the topic of gender violence. The speaker, Jackson Katz, talks about how men should be taught about gender violence and engage in this troubling topic that concerns not only women, but men as well- the majority of violence is caused by men. He also discusses the fact that after a woman is assaulted, society tends to ask questions such as 1) What was she wearing? 2) Where was she? ,etc… and society somehow forgets to ask the important questions, being 1) Why did that man assault her? 2) Why did he think it was acceptable, and so on. It’s a really inspiring video that displays exactly what is wrong with society, and explains key steps on leadership that we all can learn from. Check out the video here.
