Last week I went down to Leicestershire and picnicked with my mum and sisters in the beautiful surroundings of Bradgate Park. It was lovely to be back amongst the English landscape and enjoy the sunny weather! The park has so much to offer to all age groups and is the perfect place to escape to if you are in need of some fresh air and fantastic scenery. There is a stream running along the path where you can find many children paddling in the water or being hopeful to catch some fish. As you can see in the photo below, there is deer huddled in groups along the pathway or hiding in the bracken. It’s great to see all of the wildlife and the hundreds of families enjoying themselves in such peaceful surroundings. It is definitely worth a visit and there are plenty of activities to do listed on the website below.
