It is very rich, which is why I decided to top the cake with raspberries and toasted almonds instead of the ganache, as suggested. This is the perfect cake to make for a large group of people and will disappear within mintues! However, if like me, you wish to experiment baking different cakes you can cut the cake into slices, wrap them in cling film and pop them in the freezer. I think the cake tastes even better warmed up in the microwave after being frozen, giving it a gooey texture. Yummy!
